Information About 0-57412-
The 0-57412-E is a Reliance Electric Control Board. It may have also been sold through ABB and Baldor Reliance depending on what its production dates were. It is no longer receiving support from Reliance and may be a little hard to locate.
The 0-57412-E is specifically a Field Regulator card for an AutoMax system. It has a terminal strip on its faceplate that is labeled Current. There are three female RS-232 d-shell serial ports. There are two 9-pin connections and one 25-pin connection. The 25-pin connection is labeled To field gate connector. The first 9-pin connection is labeled field power module. The other 9-pin connection has been labeled isolated armature – volts.
The 0-57412-E has the ability to be plugged into the backplane of an AutoMax card rack assembly. It can slide into a single card slot on the backplane. The field regulator card can then be secured onto the rack assembly using the two mounting brackets on the card and the mounting brackets on the rack. The card is secured into place using two screws. The mounting brackets on the card can also be used to safely remove it from the rack assembly. This card does not need its own power supply and simply uses the power being provided by the rack assembly system.
It is recommended that the user’s manual and data sheets be read before attempting to install the 0-57412-E into a rack assembly system. Only trained personnel should attempt to install this card.
