Description
The Allen-Bradley 1394-SJT05-C-RL is a GMC system module that support Four (4) axis modules and Four (4) channels of auxiliary input channel. The module’s input voltage of 380 / 460 Volts AC, 3-Phase, input frequency of 50/60 Hz and current of 6.5 amperes. It has electrical output voltage of 530/680V DC, continuous power output of 4/5 kilowatts with peak power of 28 kW. The continuous current output is 7.36 A and peak current of 15.0 amperes. This system module has an integrated RIO and AxisLink.

Information About 1394-SJT05-C-RL
The 1394-SJT05-C-RL is a standard GMC System module that features an integrated Remote I/O (RIO) and AxisLink communication port.
The Remote I/O and AxisLink communication ports are located on the upper left side of the module with diagnostic LEDs installed. The Remote I/O allows any 1394 system module to communicate with position controllers manufactured by Allen-Bradley as well. Two (2) similar connectors with labels CHAN A/P3 and CHAN B/P4 are installed to the system module. For establishing physical Remote I/O (RIO) connection, Allen-Bradley recommends the use of AB1770 CD Belden 9463 wire or equivalent cable. This cable is also the recommended cable for RIO communication of other Allen-Bradley products. When terminating The Remote I/O cable to the any of the Two (2) RIO channels, the Blue wire must be terminated to Terminal No. 1, Shield wire to Terminal 2 and Clear wire to Terminal 3.RIO networks require installation of terminating resistor. This terminating resistor is installed to the first and last node of the RIO communication network.
The AxisLink enables transfer of data over the network. This protocol supports Eight (8) nodes which is primarily used to synchronize motion applications. The node may be made of Eight (8) GMC System modules, or any combination of ALEC and GMC system modules. With the use of this communication protocol, a 1394 system module may be used as the master axis which can be used for electronic gearing, camming, and other systems. The maximum length of an AxisLink segment is 25 meters or 82 Feet.
