Description
The Allen-Bradley 1394-SJT10-T-RL is a GMC Turbo system module that provides more GML application memory and faster program execution. The module’s input voltage of 380 / 460 Volts AC, 3-Phase, input frequency of 50/60 Hz and current of 13.0 amperes. It has electrical output voltage of 530/680V DC, continuous power output of 8/10 kilowatts with peak power of 28 kW. The continuous current output is 14.73 A and peak current of 29.46 amperes. This system module has an integrated RIO and AxisLink.

The 1394-SJT10-T-RL is 1394 GMC Turbo System Module that features faster program execution and simplified communication with SLC 500 controllers through the 32-bit processer and 64K program memory.
1394 devices are electronic based components which has an increased sensitivity with electrostatic discharges, noise and other interferences. The entire 1394 system, including this system module recommended for mounting in a dry clean and dry environment. This means that the component enclosure must prevent entry of foreign objects including dust and dirt as well as water splash or jets, be it horizontal or vertical splash and jets. Appropriate minimum enclosure rating that may meet the installation requirement is an IP 55 enclosure.
Enclosures shall have a controlled climate as the module dissipate heat, depending on the output level it provides. The ambient air temperature shall be between 0 Deg. Celsius and 50 Deg. Celsius. If the enclosure is designed to use ventilated air, appropriate filtering must be applied to prevent entry of contaminant. This also prevents defeating the IP55 enclosure rating purpose. If used near a corrosive environment, outside air shall not enter the panel. In this situation, a positive air pressure inside the panel may be applied to prevent entry of such air. Depending also on the outside temperature, an appropriate climate control package may be installed such as a combination of heater and cooler. Also consider evacuation of air inside the panel.
This system module has 16 Discrete inputs, Four (4) for every axis with dedicated discrete input functions such as Homing, positive and negative overtravel, position registration and negative thermal fault.
