Information About 140DRA84000
The Modicon 140 DRA 84 000 features an LED that displays green when in operation. The LED indicates green for channels one through sixteen when the channel is active. On the front of the 140 DRA 84 000 above the LED is the area where you can identify the model number, the model description, and the color code of the model. Beneath the LED on the front panel of the 140 DRA 84 000 relay module is the fuse cutout area. Directly below the fuse cutout area is the field wiring terminal strip. The wiring for relay common one through sixteen is located down the left front of the module and the output one through sixteen is located down the right front of the Modicon 140 DRA 84 000 modules.
The max load current for each point is 2 Amps per point maximum at 250 VAC, 30 VDC at 60 deg C ambient. 1 A Tungsten lamp load 1 A @ a power factor of 0.4 1/8 hp @ 125 / 250 VAC. The max load current for each point at 30 ... 150 VDC is 300 mA (restive load) 100 mA (L/R = 10 msec). The max load current (surge current) is 10 A capacitive load @ t = 10 ms.
When working with potentially harmful, hazardous, or toxic equipment, personal and environmental safety are of the utmost importance. Taking this into account, the 140 DRA 84 000, along with other modules from this line, is available in a conformal coated version, 140 DRA 84 000C. This relay discrete output module also meets the extensive requirement standards of a wide range of agencies, including the following:
UL 508
CSA 22.2-142
C-UL
Factory Mutual Class I, Division II
CE
CSA Class I, Division II
The Schneider Electric 140 DRA 84 000 module has C-Tick, GOST, and ABS certifications.
