Information About 14C300
For this controller only, the regulator board is set up for use with 24 VDC main contactors having a coil resistance greater than or equal to 100 ohms. 14C300 has a rated horsepower range of 10, and the VAC at 60Hz is 230. The A-C Amps (RMS) rating maxes out at 38, the amp. maximum is 5, and the power supply capacity is 5000. The D-C armature is 240 volts and the D-C armature averages 72 amperes. The D-C field is rated at 150 volts. The transformer for this controller has a maximum kVA of between 30 and 80, and a rated kVA of between 6 and 16. Important: For proper operation of the controller, the minimum required kVA size is 15 kVA.
When installing the controller, mount the chassis on a vertical surface. You must leave at least 4 inches of clearance between controllers, including top, bottom, and all sides. The unobstructed area allows for proper air circulation through the heat sink. Under no circumstances should you ever place a controller directly in a corner. The user is responsible for providing ambient temperatures of between 32°F and 131°F, which meet the controller specifications. Relative humidity must be kept between 5-95% without condensation.
Caution: The drive will not start if external overload devices are not connected between terminals 32, 33, 34, and 132. Do not allow conductors to ground on the drive. Personal injury could result if a bare wire touches the chassis.
