This controller has an integral auxiliary contact that can be supplied with a maximum voltage of 240VAC. The controller’s trip rating is 120% of motor Full Load Current (FLA).

The 150-C201NBD features standard functions such as Soft Start, Current Limit Start, Selectable Kickstart, Coast-to-rest and Soft Stop. This controller has integral overload protection, integrated bypass, internal diagnostics, rotary dial and DIP switches. It also features an adjustable electronic overload trip class.

This controller is designed for 3-Phase operation only with rated impulse voltage of 6kV, DV/DT protection of 1000V/micro seconds and Overvoltage category III.

The Allen-Bradley 150-C201NBD is an SMC-3 solid state smart motor controller. It comes with a control voltage of 100-240V AC and an input voltage rating of 200-460V AC, 3-phase controller that has a frequency rating of 50-60 Hz, a current rating of 201 A, and HP rating of 40-60 HP. Its operating temperature ranges from -5-50 Deg. Celsuis and the storage temperature is from -25-85 Deg. Celsius. Non-condensing relative humidity of this controller is 5-95% and its maximum operating altitude is 2000m. Note that the 150-C201NBD controller has Delta compatibility, uses an open-type enclosure, and measures 8.86 x 22.05 x 10.45 inches. This controller also comes with an LED status indicator, DIP switches for setting the start/stop profile of the controller, a rotary switch for quick setup of the motor FLA, and a reset button that can also be used for quick testing of the controller for fault conditions. The 150-C201NBD controller can be used for various applications such as compressors, conveyors, chillers, pumps, mixers, fans, and lifts. It also has 5 modes of operation available, namely kick start, current limit start, coast-to-reset, soft start, and soft stop. Built-in protection available with the 150-C201NBD controller includes over-temperature, electronic motor overload protection, phase reversal protection, and SCR/Run bypass. This controller conducts a check on all SCRs before and during a start to see if a shortened SCR is present and when it detects one, it will abort the start and will indicate a fault to prevent damage in case of a phase imbalance. When the phase imbalance is more than 50% of the current imbalance for 3 seconds, the controller will trip to prevent motor damage. It will also not attempt a start when the controller only has a single-phase condition on the line to prevent a motor burnout.
