Description
The 150-F251NBR is an SMC Flex Smart Motor Controller from Allen-Bradley. This motor controller is a Soft-starter device with line Voltage of 200-460VAC, 3-Phase, 50 and 60 Hz and control Voltage of 24 VAC / VDC. This motor controller may be used with line-connected and Delta-connected motors. It is capable of implementing Soft-start, Linear Acceleration/Deceleration, Current Limit, Dual Ramp Start, Full Voltage, Soft Stop, Preset Slow Speed operating modes. With line connected motors, it has an applicable motor current ratings of 84-251 Amperes, power ratings of 75-251 HP @ 60 Hz and 75 -132 kW @ 50 Hz. It is also applicable for use with delta-connected motors with applicable current ratings of 145-435 Amperes, power ratings of 132-250 kW kW @ 50 Hz and 150-350 Hp @ 60 Hz.

It has standard configuration without optional modes installed however, it is capable of a variety of starting and stopping modes such as Soft-start, Linear Acceleration/Deceleration, Current Limit, Dual Ramp Start, Full Voltage, Soft Stop, Preset Slow Speed operating modes. This Smart Motor controller may implement these starting and stopping modes: standard squirrel-cage induction motor or a Wye-Delta, six-lead motor.
Aside from the starting and stopping modes, the 150-F251NBR has integrated motor overload protection, Diagnostic Faults and Alarms specifically Power loss, line fault, voltage unbalance, excessive starts/hour, phase reversal, undervoltage, overvoltage, controller temp, stall, jam, open gate, overload, underload, communication fault.It features Four (4) fully configurable contacts assignable for normal/up-to-speed/fault/alarm/network (N.O./N.C.), or external bypass signals.
The 150-F251NBR is also capable of metering functionality, able to provide metering readout of Amps, volts, kW, kWh, MW, MWH, elapsed time, power factor, motor thermal capacity usage. This controller also has One (1) DPI port for connection of an additional human interface and another DPI port for connection to communication modules.
The 150-F251NBR is capable of indicating Stopped, starting, stopping, at speed, alarm, and fault via the front panel LED indicators.
