The 160-AA12NSF1 AC drive is a Bulletin 160 SSC series variable speed drive that has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It can support single-phase AC voltage and 3-phase AC voltage as required by the application. The 160-AA12NSF1 variable speed drive’s operating voltage range is from 200 to 240 Volts AC for both single-phase and 3-phase voltage. It has an analog signal follower control feature. The Allen-Bradley 160-AA12NSF1 module is a variable speed, 3-phase AC Smart Speed Controller (SSC) in the 160 series with an analog signal follower control that can be adjusted by using the external speed potentiometer installed on the controller. In particular, the potentiometer has a 1K-10K Ω range at a minimum rating of 2 Watts. The 160-AA12NSF1 uses an open IP20 enclosure that lets the user install the controller vertically on a plane that is flat but only in an area that is corrosion-free, using a 35 millimeter DIN rail or using mounting screws that have a diameter of 4.5 millimeters or less. This controller comes with a ready/fault panel which shows faults via its built-in LED status indicators, and its 3 terminal blocks, with each block dedicated for the 160-AA12NSF1 controller’s wirings for the motor, the control, and the SSC’s line power.

This controller has a 200 to 240 Volt AC input voltage at a 50 to 60 Hertz line frequency, as well as an input kVA of 5.7 and an operational voltage range of 180 to 265 Volts AC.
