It features a Digital DC Self-configurable blocks with Eight (8) self-configuring Sinking Input and Sourcing Output. It has a continuous output current of 0.5 A per point or 4.0 A per block. It also has dual Ethernet ports for Ring, Star, Linear and Tree topology.

The 1732E-8CFGM8R does not include an internal fusing. The I/O are self-configuring types with each point may be configured as sink or source. No particular grouping is applied. It also supports Daisy chaining of auxiliary power which helps in minimizing wire terminations.
This module is especially compatible with Allen-Bradley products and shall have no conflict being connected to the same network where a PowerFlex, PanelView, Point I/O or any ethernet device.
