The Allen-Bradley 1734-EPAC is a POINT I/O expansion power supply designed to transmit field power to I/O modules, operating at 120 to 240 Volts AC. It efficiently separates field power, allowing for the creation of logical partitions between input and output modules and grouping them by function. This power supply can support 4 to 17 I/O modules, depending on the DIN-rail position and current needs. Multiple 1734-EPAC units can be used with POINT I/O adapters to form a complete system.

The 1734-EPAC has an input voltage range of 120 to 240 Volts AC nominal, 50 to 60 Hertz, and 85 to 264 Volts AC. It consumes up to 15.1 W and dissipates up to 8.4 W at 264 Volts AC. It features a 264 Volts continuous isolation voltage and can withstand 3250 Volts DC for 60 seconds. The unit includes two green indicators for field power status and 5 Volts system power. It also offers MOV and fuse protection against input overvoltage. Certified with cULus, CE, and C-Tick, the 1734-EPAC operates in temperatures up to 55 degrees Celsius (131 degrees Fahrenheit) and in relative humidity up to 95%, non-condensing. Ensure to turn off field power when connecting or disconnecting wiring to prevent electrical arcing.
