The Allen-Bradley 1734-IV8 is a POINT digital sourcing input module. It comes with 8 input points that are grouped together. It comes with 8 yellow status indicators that are on the “logic side” of the module and it has a keyswitch position of 1. The 1734-IV8 is an in-cabinet modular input platform that can be mounted on either a 1734-TBS or a 1734-TB mounting base. It comes with an open-style enclosure and the wires compatible with it are 14 to 22 AWG solid or stranded copper wire rated at 75 degrees Celsius or greater and with a maximum insulation of 1.2 millimeters. This module’s ports all have a category of 1 and it measures 2.21 x 0.47 x 2.97 inches. Because of its compact size, the 1734-IV8 module can be inserted into limited spaces and can be mounted either horizontally or vertically.

Change-of-state or COS connections are extremely fast with the 1734-IV8 which makes it a high-performance module.
