The 1734-OB4E output module from Allen-Bradley is a Point I/O 1734 series protected output module. It is designed to be as narrow and compact as possible so that it is easy to install in any system. The 1734-OB4E protected output module comes with 4 output channels on its front panel that are labeled from 0 to 3 and that have their own status indicators. It can support up to 1 Amp of current per output, but the maximum current rating for the whole module should not be higher than 3 Amps. All of the outputs on the 1734-OB4E protected output module are in 1 group.

It offers digital and analog selections and it can mount horizontally or vertically without de-rating. The module has up to 8 single-ended inputs and outputs and these come in thermocouple and RTD modules available with individually configurable channels. It has onboard scaling and a choice of input filters. The 1734-OB4E has 4 current sourcing, electronically protected, and enhanced sourcing outputs. The 1734-OB4E has a conducted radio frequency of 10Vrms with 1kHz sine-wave 80% AM from 80 to 150 MHz. It has a wire size of 2.5millimeters-0.34millimeters squared solid or stranded copper wire rated at 75 degrees Celsius or greater with 1.2-millimeter insulation maximum. The model's dimensions in inches are 2.21 x 0.47 x 2.97 inches and it has an ESD immunity of 6 kV contact discharges and 8 kV air discharges.
