The 1734-OE2V is an analog output module capable of producing Voltage signal with range of 0-10VDC or +/- 10VDC. This module is manufactured by Allen-Bradley for the POINT IO product family of compact emote IO modules.

Analog output modules are used to control modulating devices such as Control Valves, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) or Variable Speed Drives (VSD), Dampers, Louvers and other converters and actuators.

The analog output comes from the internal conversion of digital data within the Programmable Logic Controller’s (PLC) register. The digital data is converted with the use of Digital to Analog converter circuit that is integral to the module. The digital data being converted may come direct manipulation of a PLC register, a result of a mathematical operation, pre-defined values or output of a Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller.

Aside from actuators, analog output signals from this module may also be used to interface with remote indicators, data loggers, recorders or even used as a pass through or signal multiplexer.

This module requires a wiring base assembly of 1734-TB, 1734-TBS, 1734-TB3, 1734-TB3S,1734-TOP, or 1734-TOPS wiring base assembly. It has integrated indicators such as 1 green/red for module status, 1 green/red for network status and 2 green/red for output status. This module keyswitch position is No.4. When wiring signal to this module, the recommended wire size are 0.25 to 2.5 sq. mm. or 22 to 14 AWG solid or stranded copper wire rated at 75 °C or 167 °F or greater and max insulation of 1.2 mm or 3/64 in.

The Allen-Bradley 1734-OE2V POINT I/O Analog Output Module with single-ended, non-isolated 2-channels that converts digitally processed data to analog output voltage. The module has a resolution of 14 bits (13 plus sign) 1.28C/cnt in unipolar or bipolar modules. Until the communication is set, it has a 0V output voltage. Its user-configurable output voltage is 0-10V. (-0.0V under, +0.5V over) +10V user configurable (-0.5V under, +0.5V over). The 1734-OE2V operates Uni-polar or Bipolar modules.
