Description
The Allen-Bradley SLC 500 series 1746-IO8 I/O module is equipped with both input channels and output channels for flexible operation in different industrial systems. It is designed to operate in any industrial environment that is not hazardous, and to operate in Class 1, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D rated hazardous industrial environments. The 1746-IO8 input and output module should not be exposed to certain kinds of chemicals because it is a relay contact module with a protective seal that can be degraded by harsh chemicals. The 1746-IO8 SLC 500 Digital Input/output Combined Module is a combined input and output module by Allen-Bradley and is fitted in any slot (except slot 0) of 1746 I/O chassis.
