Information About 1747-DTAM-E
The 1747-DTAM-E module is manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as a data table access module. It is manufactured to work on the factory floor that the operators can use to change a machine's operating modes, clear processor faults, access data file information, and transfer memory to and from any Allen-Bradley SLC 500 processor. Note that there are some data types that the 1747-DTAM-E module does not support and these data types are string data, floating point data, and ASCII data. Its 2 operating modes are the modify mode and the monitor mode. Each operating mode can be enabled and disabled with a jumper that is installed in the factory. Other applications that the 1747-DTAM-E module is equipped to handle include memory data transfers between the CPU EEPROM and the CPU RAM, displaying in 6 selectable languages that are English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, and Japanese, and as an operator interface for displaying messages.
The Allen-Bradley 1747-DTAM-E data table access module has been approved by the UL and CSA standards and it has an enclosure with a NEMA 12, 13 environmental protection rating. The Allen-Bradley 1747-DTAM-E data table access module needs to be kept in a temperature range of 32 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 to 55 degrees Celsius in order to operate properly. To release heat, this module has ventilation holes on the top and bottom of its enclosure, and the users can drill more holes if necessary, but they must cover the original holes while drilling the new holes to prevent metal shavings from entering the enclosure and damaging the 1747-DTAM-E data table access module.
