The Input current ranges from 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA. This Current Analog Input Module has 16 inputs and 16 - 21 bits of resolution. With power dissipation of 5.30 W, the 1756-IF16IH works with an inrush current of 400 mA at 5.1V DC and 450 mA at 24V DC. Moreover, it has a continuous isolation voltage of 250V, an input impedance of 250 ï—ï€ (±5 ), and an open circuit detection time of 5 s applicable for 4-20 mA range alone.

The 1756-IF16IH utilizes an input overvoltage protection of 28.8V DC and has a common mode noise rejection of > 90 dB at 50-60 Hz. In addition, this module has an input offset drift with temperature of 300 A/°C and a gain drift with temperature of 20 ppm/°C.
