The 1756-L85E ControlLogix 5580 standard controller is rated for handling 1000 programs per task and up to 32 tasks at a time during operation. This controller has one of the biggest user memory capacities available in the ControlLogix 5580 product line, and its memory capacity is 40 MB. The 1756-L85E ControlLogix 5580 standard controller has no enclosure, and its ambient operating temperature range is from 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit at 5 to 95% relative humidity without condensation.

The Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 5580 Controllers, including the 1756-L85E controller, provide superior performance, productivity, and security to meet the growing demands of smart machines and equipment for manufacturing. The 1756-L85E uses the Studio 5000 application with an integrated motion through EtherNet/IP for high-speed applications. This controller is ideal for applications that require high-performance communication service, I/O, and motion control.

The 1756-L85E can communicate with other machines through a variety of communication protocols, including DeviceNet, SynchLink, Data Highway Plus, and third-party device networks.

The 1756-L85E can withstand an operating vibration of 2g at 10-500 Hz, an operating shock of 30g, and a nonoperating shock of 30g. It is UL-listed for use in the US and Canada, UL-marked for Class I, Division 2 Group A, B, C, and D hazardous locations, and CE-certified for use in the EU. The 1756-L85E has no enclosure.
