This controller can support both AC and DC output voltage. The AC output voltage range of the 1761-L16BWB MicroLogix 1000 controller is from 5 to 264 Volts AC and the DC output voltage range is from 5 to 135 Volts DC.

The 1761-L16BWB MicroLogix 1000 by Allen-Bradley is a programmable controller in the MicroLogix 1000 series with 16 I/O points, a 24V DC input signal, a relay output type, and a 24V DC power supply. It has Ten (10) DC inputs and Six (6) point relay output. Its input voltage ranges from 14 to 30V DC and it has 24V DC 8.0A ON voltage/current. The 1761-L16BWB is a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This product is a MicroLogix 1000 PLC, a compact controller that is primarily designed for use in small processes or applications that require migration from conventional hardwired control system to programmable, electronic based controlled system. This controller is provided with an RS232 interface that supports Allen-Bradley’s DF1 protocol. This port uses a particular communication cable such as 1761-CBL-PM02, to enable upload, download, monitoring and commissioning. It also enables communication with Human Machine Interface (HMI), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and 3rd party electronic devices such as gateways and converters. The RS232 interface may also be configured for DH485 protocol and further enabled to connect to this network using an external Advanced Interface Converter (AIC) with part number 1761-NET-AIC.

It may also be programmed using the MicroLogix 1000 Hand-Held Programmer.

The 1761-L16BWB is equipped with an embedded Ten (10) discrete inputs and Six (6) relay outputs. It is powered by an external supply voltage of 24VDC. The inputs are rated for 24VDC signals while the relay outputs contacts are rated for 0-125 VDC or 0-240VAC voltage ranges. The integrated memory of this controller amounts to1 K EEPROM, capable of storing approximately 737 instruction words: 437 data words.
