Information About 1761-NET-ENIW
The Allen-Bradley 1761-NET-ENIW is an Ethernet interface that is part of the Bulletin 1761 MicroLogix Communication Module Series. It allows EtherNet/IP connectivity between non-Ethernet controllers with new or existing networks. It is used for communication between controllers, uploading and downloading programs, and generating emails via Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP). It is compatible with all CompactLogix controllers, all MicroLogix controllers, and with all other DF1 full-duplex-compliant devices.
The 1761-NET-ENIW EtherNet/IP Module enhances system operation with its web server functionality. Information can be accessed via the device’s TCP/IP address entered into a web browser. It features 40 data table values presented in 4 standard DataView web pages. Each page consists of 7 integers and 3 floating-point values, 10 user-configurable data description strings., and 10 user-configurable web page links. To safeguard against unauthorized access and modification, the writable data files are password-protected.
The 1761-NET-ENIW Interface can support up to 6 concurrent TCP/IP connections – 2 outgoing, 2 incoming, and 2 configurable ones that can be configured as outgoing or incoming connections. Each of these has its own DFI queue and each simultaneously supports 5 unconnected sends and 4 CIP connections.
At 24V DC, the current draw of the 1761-NET-ENIW is 50 mA typical and 100 mA maximum. It has a power source requirement of 20.4-26.4V DC, with a maximum inrush current of 200 mA. For one minute, the internal isolation is rated at 710V DC.
Manufacturer information
