The 1762-MM1RTC module, produced by Allen-Bradley, combines memory and real-time clock functions and is part of the MicroLogix 1200 series. This series includes a processor, power supply, input circuits, and output circuits. The 1762-MM1RTC is compatible with the Bulletin 1762 MicroLogix controller and supports an expansion I/O module that can accommodate up to 6 modules per controller. The controller should be mounted horizontally with the expansion I/O extending to the right, and users should allow 2 inches of space on all sides for proper ventilation.

The 1762-MM1RTC provides 4 interrupt inputs and 4 pulse catch/latching inputs, and features a built-in high-speed 20 kHz counter. It also offers a programmable limit switch function and can expand I/O to up to 136 points. Communication is facilitated by an isolated RS-485/RS-232 serial port.

To install the 1762-MM1RTC, remove the port cover for the real-time clock or memory module, align the memory module connector with the controller connector pins, and slide the memory module into the controller. Avoid touching sensitive areas, including the connector pins, to prevent electrostatic discharge damage.
