This module has a 160Bit resolution with configurable data formats of Selectable data formats; PID, Engineering Units, Raw Count, Percent of Range. The channels have settling time of <1 ms to 63% of full scale.
This module is provided with an overvoltage protection of +24VDC for one minute, output accuracy of ±20 mV at 25 °C; ±50 uA at 25 °C. It has a backplane current requirement of 30 mA at 5 V; 250 mA at 18.7 and V 195 mA at 24 V.
This module promotes cost savings as it is equivalent to Two (2) 1762-OF4 expansion module. Also, it saves an expansion module count, saving the remaining slot to accommodate other needed modules. MicroLogix 1100 supports up to Four (4) expansion modules, Six (6) for MicroLogix 1200 and Seven (7) for MicroLogix 1400.
