Description
The 1768-EWEB module is a web server module that is available from the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation CompactLogix series. It is ideal for plant management applications, data collection on a single high-speed network like the Ethernet/IP network, and applications that require internet or intranet connections. This web server is also suitable for applications that include custom web pages. The 1768-EWEB web server module can operate in a temperature range from 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and it can be stored and transported in a temperature range from -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The 1768-EWEB web server supports 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps Ethernet/IP communication rates and 128 Logix connections.

It uses 802.3 compliant shielded or unshielded twisted pair for connection and comes in two series, A and B. Status LED displays are used in this PLC-5 equipment. It has 1 Port, 0 Motion Axes, and 1 Ethernet RJ45 Category 5 Interface. It supports up to 64 TCP/IP Connections and 128 CIP Connections. The communication rate of 1768-EWEB is 10/100 Mbps. It weighs around 7.5 ounces and comes without an enclosure. It can be panel mounted or installed onto the DIN rail.
It also has a flash file system with 2 Mb of space to store web pages and data views. This device consumes 4.34 Watts of power and has an isolation voltage of 30 Volts. The 1768-EWEB can be placed into slot 3 or slot 4 of the CompactLogix 1768 Bus. This enhancement is for use with the 1769-L45 controller.
