Information About 1769-L33ERMS
The 1769-L33ERMS is a 5570 Compact GuardLogix controller that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This controller is capable of executing standard and safety functions as it features 2MB standard user memory and 1 MB safety memory. Additionally, this controller supports handling of up to 32 continuous and periodic tasks with each task having 100 programs each.
The 1769-L33ERMS is provided with dual Ethernet communication interface for connecting to an Ethernet I/P network. These dual ports carry the same network traffic and acts as embedded switch and uses a common I/P address. These ports support 10/100 Mbps transmission rate and capable of communicating up to 256 controller connections, 120 TCP connection, 256 CIP connection and maximum of 32 sockets. These ports may be used to exchange data with visualization systems such as Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) devices.
The 1769-L33ERMS supports installation of up to 16 local I/O modules and expansion using up to 3 I/O banks. Aside from the integrated safety feature, this controller supports motion over Ethernet I/P wherein up to 8 motion axes may be controlled. Supported programming languages are Relay Ladder Logic (RLL), Structured Text (ST), Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Sequential Function Chart (SFC).
The 1769-L33ERMS controller has 2 MB of onboard standard user memory plus 1 MB of safety memory. This controller can support 8 motion axes and it can be expanded with up to sixteen 1769 series I/O modules. As the global leader in industrial automation control, the Allen-Bradley made the 1769-L33ERMS controller with a variety of acquisition and control capabilities to offer a powerful and yet affordable solution that covers communication, monitoring, digital and analog signal processing, and axis control for various motors. Over the built-in Ethernet port, this controller can exchange data with visualization systems to enable the users to efficiently monitor their applications. The 1769-L33ERMS controller has 8 status indicators on the top, which are the run indicator which is green when the controller is in the run mode, force indicator which is yellow when I/Os are forced, I/O indicator which is green when the controller communicates with all the configured I/Os, OK indicator which is green when the controller is operating without problems, NS indicator which is a network status LED that is green when network communication is established as configured, LINK1 indicator which is the Ethernet port 1 status indicator, LINK2 indicator which is the Ethernet port 2 status indicator, and the SD indicator which is the SD card activity indicator that flashes green when the controller is reading from or writing to the SD card.
