The Allen-Bradley 1769-L35E is a 1769 CompactLogix controller. This controller has embedded 1.5 MB memory, One (1) Ethernet and One (1) RS232 communication port. It supports up to Thirty (30) Compact I/O modules and supports up to Three (3) expansion banks.

The Allen-Bradley 1769-L35E 1769 CompactLogix Controller is a Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) ideal for medium sized control requirements, for process and factory automation industry. This controller features an integrated One (1) RS232 and One (1) Ethernet communications port with integrated memory of 1.5MB memory.

This controller supports installation of Thirty (30) local expansion bank I/O. It also permits expansion of up to Three (3) expansion banks with the use of Two (2) expansion cables.

For controller revision, 16. For revision 17. For 19.015, use 19.01.00 while for 20.013 use 20.01.00. Use Studio 5000 Logix Designer if the controller revision is 21.00 and later.

Ethernet may be configured thru RSNetworx for Ethernet, BOOTP-DHCP and the provide rotary switch. Required communication is a standard Cat5 or Cat6 cable and supports up to 100 m of distance. It also supports 10/100 mbps transfer rate with auto-negotiation function.

The 1769-L35E CompactLogix controller by Allen-Bradley provides sophisticated system control and a communication domain and is compatible with various industrial machine systems. It is equipped with Ethernet and an RS-232 serial communication port, with an operational memory of 1.5 Megabytes. The 1769-L35E is compatible with the 1784-CF64 compact flash non-volatile memory module, it can support a maximum of 30 I/O modules, and it has an Allen-Bradley 1769-BA replaceable battery. The 1769-L35E has an expansion capacity of up to 30 modules and a power supply rating of 4 modules. The 1769-L35E has a draw current at 5 Volts DC of 660mA, a 5.5-Watt heat dissipation rate, 30 Volts of maximum insulation voltage, and a 660 mA backplane current (at 5 Volts DC).Even though this is an end of life product, we will continue selling the 1769-L35E even after it has gone obsolete.

The 1769-L35E can be programmed using the Allen-Bradley 1747-CP3/1756-CP3 cables over Ethernet and it can be easily mounted either by using a DIN rail (with an operational shock rating of 20 G), or a panel mount (with an operational shock rating of 30 G). The 1769-L35E has an operational vibration of 5 G at a frequency of 10 to 500 Hertz. The 1769-L35E can withstand a 1.1 to 1.8 N-m mounting torque. It has a CISPA11 Class 1 (Group 1) emission certification and an open style enclosure. The 1769-L35E has an approximate weight of 0.30 kilograms (0.66 pounds). It also has an operating temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius (32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit), a storage temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit), and a relative humidity range of 0 to 95%, non-condensing. This unit can be installed with several different power supplies including the 1769-PA4.

The RS232 communication port requires compatible cable with part number 1756-CP3 or 1747-CP3 serial cable. This may also be fabricated as the RS232 communication port uses a standard 9-Pin DB9 connector. Limit the length of the cable to 15.2 m. It supports DF1, DH485 communication protocol.

This controller complies with IEC-61131-3 requirement for PLC and PAC programming language. This controller supports programming in Ladder, Function Block, Statement List, Structured Text and Sequence Function Chart. This programming languages may be used in combination, in different parts of the program.
