Information About 1769-L36ERM
The 1769-L36ERM is a CompactLogix Controller that manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This controller supports Ethernet communication through the embedded Two (2) Ethernet ports and Serial protocol through the RS232 communication port. This controller supports local expansion modules and it capable of implementing control of local and distributed I/O modules.
The Allen-Bradley 1769-L36ERM CompactLogix Controller may be used with 1769-SDN to allow access to different I/O modules such as digital, analog, and high-speed counter modules in the network. It comes with 3 MB of internal memory and it can support a 1 or 2 GB SD memory card. It ships with a 1 GB SD card.
The Allen-Bradley 1769-L36ERM CompactLogix Controller is able to operate in environments where the temperature range is 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and where there is a relative humidity range of 5 to 95% without condensation. It is important to follow these requirements in order to extend the life of the controller and at the same time provide safety operations.
The Allen-Bradley 1769-L36ERM CompactLogix Controller can support up to 32 continuous tasks and 100 programmable tasks. The programming languages used by the Allen-Bradley 1769-L36ERM CompactLogix Controller are the relay ladder, structured text, functions block. and the SFC. The Allen-Bradley 1769-L36ERM CompactLogix Controller requires a 24 Volts DC digital input. This controller is widely used in different industries due to its versatile structure and functioning and due to its compact design.
The Allen-Bradley 1769-L36ERM is a Programmable Automation Controller (PAC). This module is a processor under the CompactLogix 5370 L3 controllers or commonly known as 1769 CompactLogix. This controller features an integrated It features a 3MB user memory with an option to install a non-volatile memory. A 1784-SD1 card with 1 GB memory is shipped with the controller which may be replaced with a 1784-SD2 card. These secure digital cards provide non-volatile memory to allow the controller load the user program from this card. It can accommodate up to Thirty (30) 1769 Compact I/O modules in the local communication bus or Up to Three (3) I/O expansion banks may be added to meet additional I/O on the process. his controller has dual Ethernet communication port and USB interface. It is also provided with an integrated motion capability that supports up to Sixteen (16) axes.
This controller is a rackless controller which supports DIN rail or direct panel mounting. When installing this controller, the power supply distance rating must be observed to qualify the assembly. The specific required distance from the power supply is Four (4) which means, the controller must be installed not more than 4 modules away from the power supply.
For configuring the IP address, BOOTP-DHCP or RSnetworx for Ethernet may be used. For V21.xx and later, Studio 5000 Logix designer is used. The controller supports programming languages specified by International Electro-technical Commission (IEC) standad 61131-3. Programs downloaded to the controller can be made with Relay Ladder, Sturctured Text, Function Block and Sequential Function Block (SFC).
