The Allen-Bradley 1771-P7 is a PLC5 Power Supply module. This module is used to power One (1) 1771-A1B, -A2B, -A3B, -A3B1, or -A4B I/O chassis installed with an adapter module. This power supply also supports Mini-PLC-2/02, Mini-PLC-2/05, Mini-PLC-2/16, Mini-PLC-2/17, or PLC-5 Programmable Logic Controllers. The module’s nominal input voltage of 120VAC at 2.0A and 220 VAC at 1.0A. It has a maximum Real Input Power of 108 W.

Electrostatic discharge may degrade or shorten the expected lifespan of the module. When installing the module, ensure that surfaces used to temporary place the module are grounded. Installation personnel must prevent touching the electronic components. Take note to mount above or next to the chassis only, to allow convection cooling. The 1771-P7 can power one 1771-A1B, -A2B, -A3B, -A3B1, or -A4B I/O chassis when used with an adapter or programmable controller that does not have an internal power supply. It works with the PLC-5 family of processors and Mini-PLC-2 /02, /05, /16, and /17. This is not compatible with the 1771-A1, -A2, or -A4 I/O chassis. And it is not designed for parallel connection as this may result in damage due to unexpected machine operation or processor memory loss.
