The 1783-SFP1GLX transceiver is a pluggable transceiver that is designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is used for transmitting and receiving communication data by using a combined radio transmitter and receiver. It is a 1000 Base LX/LH single mode fiber device and it is part of the Allen-Bradley Stratix 8000/83000 series. It works properly within a 10-kilometer range. It comes with 1 GB of memory. The core/cladding size of the transceiver is G.652 micron. It has been certified with the ROSTECHNADZOR and KC standards. The wavelength produced by the transceiver is 1310 N-m. It has a small form factor and it can be easily plugged. It comes with a dual LC connector and it supports digital optical monitoring. The monitoring is done via the command line interface or CLI.

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1783-SFP1GLX transceiver should be used for industrial purposes only with a temperature rating between -40 and 85 degrees Celsius. After installing the module, the overall temperature rating of the combined module is limited to the lowest temperature rating and highest minimum temperature rating. The 1783-SFP1GLX transceiver is supported by the Stratix 2000 Gigabit Ethernet SFP slots. The 1783-SFP1GLX transceiver is used with the Allen-Bradley 5700 series switches. These switches have an isolation voltage of 50 Volts and they come with basic insulation. They also come with the RJ 45 Ethernet connectors. The switches use 18 to 20 AWG solid or stranded copper wire rated at 30 degrees Celsius or greater. The 1783-SFP1GLX transceiver has an open type of enclosure and it should be protected against water sprays.
