Information About 193-EA1FB
The 193-EA1FB relay by Allen-Bradley is an electronic overload relay that is used for motor protection. The modular design, diagnostic information, communication options, integration to Logix technology, and simplified wiring make this relay the best overload relay for motor control applications in automation systems. This electronic overload relay comes with a number of benefits, including intelligent motor control which is DeviceNet and EtherNet/IP enabled. Moreover, the Allen-Bradley 193-EA1FB relay comes with an integrated I/O, which assists in providing diagnostic information as well as scalable solution. The relay has an adjustable trip class of 5 to 30, warning settings, a programmable trip range, and a wide current range. The 193-EA1FB relay comprises 3 modules which are sensing, communications, and control modules. The users have an option for each of the 3 modules with extra accessories to customize the relays to suit their own exact needs.
The Allen-Bradley 193-EA1FB electronic overload relay provides overload protection via the true RMS current measurement of each of the distinct phase currents of the connected motor. This module uses the information to calculate a thermal model, which gives a simulation of the actual heating of the motor. The percentage of the thermal capacity utilization or the %TCU gives a report of the calculated value, which is then read through a communications network. For an overload trip to occur, the value must reach 100%. The Allen-Bradley 193-EA1FB electronic overload relay has a thermal memory circuit which is designed to estimate the thermal decay in the Trip Class 20 settings. As a result, the thermal model of the connected motor is maintained even when there is no power supply connected to it.
