The Allen-Bradley 20-750-S1 module is a safe speed monitor option module. To avoid electric shock, prior to module installation or removal, it should be verified that all the DC and AC power sources have been de-energized. Furthermore, the voltage on bus capacitors should be discharged completely before any work is performed on the drive. The bus capacitor voltages can be measured at the test points provided for this purpose. The relevant drive documents and manuals should be referred to for the identification of the test points. Systems with a safety function must be protected against conductive contamination through an enclosure type rated for at least IP 54 NEMA or UL Type 12.

The environmental specifications for the 20-750-S1 module vary with the type of drive in which it is installed.
