This PowerFlex interface module is engineered to work as a communication interface that monitors and configures the different PowerFlex AC drives as well as their connected peripheral devices. It is also backwards compatible and well-matched with the older PowerFlex 7-Class drives, but it has a limited functionality with these drives. Other notable features of the 20-HIM-A3 human-machine interface module and all of the PowerFlex 700 human-machine interface modules include better keypad touch response and an enhanced tactile feel that provides a more ergonomic and error-free data entry process. These devices offer more intuitive access as well as new menu structures than the previous models, and this increases the operating efficiency of the interface modules.
