The 20-HIM-A3 module is a human-machine interface module that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley as part of the PowerFlex 700 product line. It features an LCD screen with a full numeric keypad and it can be hand-held or locally drive mounted. This interface is a multipurpose LCD operator interface that is intended for use with different PowerFlex AC drives. There is a panel bezel kit for the drive mounting option. Some of the main features and benefits of the 20-HIM-A3 human-machine interface module include its easy-to-read displays, its smart start feature that makes programming easy, and its copycat function that helps to store the parameter sets in a keypad. This human-machine interface module is designed and intended for use with the Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 7000, PowerFlex 70, PowerFlex 700, PowerFlex 700S, PowerFlex 700L, PowerFlex 753, PowerFlex 755, PowerFlex 755TR, PowerFlex 755TL, and PowerFlex 700H series drives. 

The Allen-Bradley PowerFlex 700 20-HIM-A3 interface module’s full-numeric keypad and fully-integrated navigation capabilities can be used to easily monitor and configure the compatible PowerFlex drives as well as other peripheral devices. This PowerFlex interface module is engineered to work as a communication interface that monitors and configures the different PowerFlex AC drives as well as their connected peripheral devices. It is also backwards compatible and well-matched with the older PowerFlex 7-Class drives, but it has a limited functionality with these drives. Other notable features of the 20-HIM-A3 human-machine interface module and all of the PowerFlex 700 human-machine interface modules include better keypad touch response and an enhanced tactile feel that provides a more ergonomic and error-free data entry process. These devices offer more intuitive access as well as new menu structures than the previous models, and this increases the operating efficiency of the interface modules.
