The 2080-IQ4 input module is an Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation digital input module from the Micro 800 PLC series. It has 4 input channels that can be used to increase the number of inputs in a Micro 800 PLC system. The 2080-IQ4 digital input module has an on-state input voltage range of 9 to 30 Volts DC. This input module does not have a built-in enclosure because it is manufactured as open-style equipment. The 2080-IQ4 digital input module can be mounted on a panel or DIN Rail with a mounting torque of 1.48 pounds on an inch or 0.2 N-m.

The 2080-IQ4 Micro 800 4 Channel Digital Input Module by Allen-Bradley is a digital plug-in module which provides transistor outputs for switching a wide range of 12-24V DC voltages to field loads and for detecting any 12-24V DC signals from field devices. The module has an ON-state minimum input voltage of 9V DC, with 30V DC max input, and a maximum DC input OFF-state voltage of 5V DC. It also has a nominal DC input ON-state current of 3 mA @ 24V DC, which maxes at 5mA, and it has an OFF-state current of 1.5 mA, with an IEC Type 3 compatibility input. The 2080-IQ4 has a user-selectable input impedance of >4 KΩ at 0-3V, 3.5 KΩ at 3-12V, and >4 KΩ to <10 KΩ at 12-30V DC, and it has an input filter time of 8-10ms (AC/DC), from ON to OFF. The module also has an AC input, with a maximum ON-state voltage of 30V AC (RMS), with an OFF-state voltage of 3.5V AC (RMS), and a maximum ON-state current of 5 mA.

The 2080-IQ4 has utilizes either the Panel or DIN Rail mounting options with a mounting torque of 0.2Nm (1.48lb-in), and it requires a terminal base screw with a screw torque of 0.22-0.25 Nm (1.95-2.21lb-in.), and it is enclosed in an open-style enclosure. It provides 50V isolation voltage, between the inputs and the backplane, tested at 720V DC for 60s, using the basic insulation, and the module circuitry is made of solid or stranded copper wire, with 1.3- 0.2 mm2 (16-24 AWG) wire size. It meets the T4 North America Temperature code and it has an operating temperature range of -20-65 oC (-4-149 oF), at 5-95% non-condensing relative humidity. It is built to withstand an operational vibration of 2 g at 10-500Hz, with an operational shock of 35G, using a panel mounting option, and it has a CISPR 11, Group 1, Class A Emission rating.
