This controller features an integrated Twelve (12) 24VDC / VAC discrete inputs; Seven (7) Relay outputs; Four (4) 0-10V (shared with 24V DC) analog input channels and One (1) 0-10VDC analog output channel. This controller also comes with an embedded Ethernet I/P communication interface; One (1) RS232/485 non-isolated combo port that supports CIP Serial, Modbus RTU, ASCII communication protocols; One (1) USB port that may be used for USB -Serial passthrough as well as programming and configuration. Additionally, it has a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) output with frequency of 5 kHz.

The 2080-LC20-20QWB supports used of a MicroSD card for non-volatile storage. Compatible microSD card is a Class 6 and 10 SDSC and SDHC card with data format of FAT32 / FAT 16. This controller supports insertion of up to 32GB card to the single microSD slot. This module also comes with Two (2) available module plug-in slots for insertion of additional I/O modules.

It has an IP20 enclosure type, a power dissipation of 6 Watts, and a fixed terminal block. The 2080-LC20-20QWB and other products in the Micro820 Controller series, have input-voltage ranging between 120 and 240 Volts AC.
