The Allen-Bradley 2080-LC50-48AWB Expandable 48-point PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) has embedded inputs and outputs and it is part of the Micro850 product range. The 2080-LC50-48AWB contains an integrated 24V DC power supply and it supports any 24V DC (range 20.4-26.5V DC) output power supply which meets the minimum specifications including the optional 2080-PS120-240V AC. The PLC consumes 11 W power (without any plug-in/expansion I/O) and it consumes a maximum of 33 W (with plug-in/expansion I/O). An integrated USB 2.0 (non-isolated) port can be used for programming the 2080-LC50-48AWB. A standard USB printer cable will work with the embedded USB port. The unit also contains an Ethernet Class 3 Modbus TCP (10/100Mbps) port for programming, RTU applications, and HMI connectivity. An integrated RS232/RS485 non-isolated combo serial communication port is also provided. The 2080-LC50-48AWB has built-in support for 48 I/O: 28 inputs and 20 outputs. The 28 inputs support a maximum input frequency of 63 Hz, a maximum inrush current of 250 mA at 120V AC and a maximum input voltage of 132V AC at 60 Hz. The maximum off-state current and voltage are 1.5 mA and 20V AC, respectively.
