Product Description P/N: 2085-OF4
Description
The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 2085-OF4 output module is an expansion output module from the Micro 850 series. It has 4 outputs which can be voltage outputs or current outputs. The 2085-OF4 expansion output module supports isolation between the field side wiring and the controller, but it does not support isolation between its 4 outputs. It uses its 4 outputs to expand the number of outputs supported by a controller. The 2085-OF4 expansion output module supports voltage ranges of -10 to 10 Volts or 0 to 10 Volts and current ranges of 0 to 20 milliamps or 4 to 20 milliamps.

Information About 2085-OF4
The Allen-Bradley 2085-OF4 comes with numerous modules that offer superior functionality in a small-sized yet cost-effective package. On top of that, a range of digital and analog modules accompany and extend the capabilities of the 2085-OF4 controller by maximizing the flexibility of its I/O type and count. This module’s expansion units are comprised of high density discrete and analog I/O modules, encompassing a high accuracy RTD and a Thermocouple unit.
This terminal contains accessible, solid-state output modules that are ideal for the minimization of switching noises and for applications that require additional switching cycles, as opposed to relays. Additionally, the Triac outputs are accessible for AC loads, and sink/source transistors would be used for a DC load.
The 2085-OF4 controller is ideal for applications that need additional digital and analog I/Os, or an analog I/O that has a higher performance. This can be attributed to the fact that these controllers are designed to support at least four expansion I/Os.
This unit is available in a 27-point and 48-point form factor and comes with an embedded Ethernet port. The 2085-OF4 controller includes the following expansion I/O support: input interrupts of high speed, three embedded pulse Train outputs that help in basic positioning, and 100 kHz speed HSC found on 24 Volts dc models. The user will also receive an additional set of plugin shots that may be customized according to individual requirements, as well as an embedded USB and serial port (RS232/485).
This controller has a standard power requirement of 200 to 690 Volts and contains supplementary features such as energy savers and a motor winding heater.
