It uses these 8 output channels to expand the number of outputs that are supported by a Micro 850 series controller. The 2085-OW8 expansion output module?s 8 outputs are all AC/DC relay outputs. The 2085-OW8 expansion output module uses copper wire.

The Allen-Bradley 2085-OW8 is a Micro850 discrete relay output module. It has 8 digital outputs available with a voltage rating of 12-24V DC and 8 yellow status indicators. Its maximum load current is 2 A, its total power dissipation is 2.72 W, and its power rating is 1.8 W. The maximum off-state leakage of this module is 1.5 mA, and the minimum load is 10 mA per point. It also has a continuous isolation voltage of 240V from channel to system and it is a reinforced isolation type that has been type tested at 3250V DC for 60 s. The make and break relay contact ratings of this module are the same, specifically, they are 15 A at 120V AC, 7.5 A at 240V AC, 1 A at 24V DC, and they are 0.22 A at 125V DC.
