Specifically, this drive requires a supply input voltage of 80-132VAC, 1-phase, 80-264VAC, 1-Phase and 80-264VAC, 3-Phase.

This drive has an embedded single Ethernet I/P communication port, which allows the drive to implement motion control tasks over Ethernet I/P. This same communication port supports simultaneous communication with Human Machine Interface (HMI) devices such aa Allen-Bradley PanelView operator terminals and Remote I/O devices such as 1734 Point I/O modules. It allows simplified communication protocol wiring and support for modern communication method.

This kinetix drive supports MicroLogix 1400 Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), CompactLogix and ControlLogix Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC). A dedicated Add-on profile is available for this drive to allow direct integration of parameters, eliminating the need to manually create tags, addresses, monitoring and control parameters for the drive which contributes to faster engineering and commissioning. When used with CompactLogix controller, it may use Allen-Bradley’s Integrated Architecture system for seamless interfacing with such PACs.

This kinetix drive 2097-V33PR5-LM can seamlessly integrate and control MP series and TL series Drives and actuators.

The Allen-Bradley 2097-V33PR5-LM features a safe torque-off feature. It is installed in applications that use the CompactLogix PLC family drives to support motor motion control over an EtherNet/IP network. From the front side of the 2097-V33PR5-LM, users can mount the memory module, see several status indicators (network, axis, and module) and use three display control push buttons. Messages are shown over a small-sized display that is made of a four-digit display which enables monitoring of system status, activity, and faults. In the lower part of the device, there are five connectors used for Ethernet and I/O connection, for motor feedback, shunt resistors, and for backup power.

The IP addresses of the 2097-V33PR5-LM drive and the operator’s PC must be configured to enable Ethernet communication between these two devices. Mount the 2097-V33PR5-LM module only in an upright position. The device needs 25 millimeters of clearance on its top and bottom and 3 millimeters on its sides for proper cooling and ventilation.
