Information About 2097-V34PR6-LM
The Allen-Bradley 2097-V34PR6-LM part of the Bulletin 2097 Kinetix 350 Single-Axis Ethernet I/P Servo drive. This drive is operated by supplying an external supply voltage of 320-528VAC 3-phase along a frequency range of 48-62 Hz and input current of 7.9 A, nominal. The output characteristics of the 2097-V34PR6-LM servo drive includes continuous output current (rms) of 6.0 A, Continuous output current (0-pk) of 8.5 A, Peak output current (rms) of 18.0 A and Peak output current (0-pk) of 25.5 A. The drive’s output power rating is 3,0 kW at nominal voltage of 480VAC.
This Kinetix Drive has built-in Safe Torque-Off functionality which is certified for use in applications requiring up to ISO 13849-1 performance level d (PLd) safety category 3.Additionally, this Kinetix drive is also provided with an internal Overvoltage protection and short-circuit current protection which mainly protects the device and the connected process.
The 2097-V34PR6-LM Kinetix supports seamless integration with MP-series and TL-series servo motors and actuators. Aside from the mentioned motors and actuators, integration with Allen-Bradley visualization products such as PanelView operator terminals, distributed I/O elements specifically Allen-Bradley 1734 Point I/O remote I/O modules and Logix Automation controller platforms is possible through the embedded Ethernet I/P interface.
When installing the 2097-V34PR6-LM, the minimum mounting clearances must be met to promote an adequate air flow. Specific clearance requirements include 25.0 mm (1.0 in.) for top and bottom clearance, 3 mm (0.12 in.) for side clearances. Depending on the accessory devices installed, additional clearances may need to be added to maintain proper air flow.
The 2097-V34PR6-LM is 9.37 inches (238 millimeters) high, 7.29 inches (185.1 millimeters) wide, and 3.06 inches (12.38 millimeters) deep, and it weighs approximately 4.0 pounds (1.8 kilograms). This device operates on sine wave voltage and uses internal solid-state motor short-circuit protection which can be used on a circuit that delivers up to 100,000 Amperes (if the fuse is used) or 65,000 Amperes (if circuit breakers are used). As far as the enclosure is concerned, a custom designed enclosure design may be used which should be sized in accordance with the maximum ambient temperature rating (including heat dissipation, which amounts to 99 Watts in this drive). The 2097-V34PR6-LM should be mounted on a rigid, flat vertical surface that is not subjected to vibrations, shock, humidity, dust, corrosive vapors, or oil mist.
The 2097-V34PR6-LM features a Safe Torque-Off, which is a method to send the power-transistor control signals to a disabled state. In other words, when power is disabled, this motor is in its coasting condition. This circuit removes power from the gate firing circuits of the drives output power devices (IGBTs), thus preventing them from generating AC power to the motor. In addition to this circuit, the drive has 12 digital Inputs used for travel limit switches, push buttons, proximity sensors, and hand shakes with other devices. Thanks to the 15-pin MF motor feedback connector, the 2097-V34PR6-LM supports multiple types of feedback devices.
