Information About 20FR4042
The 20FR4042 is a 20HP 460 VAC 50/60Hz Regenerative drive. It has a rated field current of 10 amps, a DC armature current of 35 amps, and an RMS AC line current of 31 amps. This drive has semiconductor fuse protection and a phase-insensitive AC line input. It has the ability to burst fire the SCRs. It can achieve a 150% full-load current for I minute and then sustain a 200% load current for 5 seconds. The user has the ability to adjust the max and minimum speed of the motor. This drive has 12-bit analog and digital signals. It is capable of self-tuning the speed and current loops without needing to disconnect the actual fields. With that, it has a field loss protection. The user has the means to choose between three stop-modes that include coasting, ramping, and current limiting. These modes can be chosen using the user interface (keypad).
The 20FR4042 uses a keypad that is capable of many functions. It can allow the user to choose a Quick-Start sequence that can allow for a speedy drive setup. It can allow the user to change the display language between five different options. The keypad has status indicators that include LEDs and alarms. It is also capable of performing in-depth system diagnostics.
The 20FR4042 is in a standard chassis type enclosure. There are kits that are sold separately that can allow this chassis to be upgraded to a NEMA rated enclosure. It is 270.5 mm wide, 477.3 mm tall, and 310.6 mm thick.
