The Allen-Bradley 2198-D012-ERS3 is an axis module that is part of the Kinetix Ethernet I/P 5700 servo system. This servo drive is a dual-axis inverter with continuous output power of 1.7 kW at 240V input, and 3.4 kW @ 480V input. It has continuous output current of 7.0 A and continuous peak current of 17.6 A. It supports max. velocity loop of 400 Hz, Current loop of 1000 Hz and PWM frequency of 4 kHz.

The Allen-Bradley 2198-D012-ERS3 is a Kinetix 5700 dual-axis servo drive. It incorporates the drive with a hardwired and integrated safety feature that has a safe torque-off (STO) function and SIL CL3 and PLe safety ratings. It also provides support for Hiperface and DSL encoder feedback. Its Dual Ethernet ports provide support for both linear and device level ring (DLR) topologies. It uses single-wire and tuning-less commissioning, simplifying installation and saving space.

Additionally, the Kinetix 5700 supports Safe Torque-Off (STO) feature as the device’ integrated safety and Advanced tuning.
