The 2198-H008-ERS supports a hardwired version of Safe Torque Off (STO) functionality. This module also gives an option of input for an external temperature sensor device, implanted in the motor, to maintain the UL requirement for motor overload protection. The 2198-H008-ERS works with an AC input/output voltage of 240 Volts AC for single-phase and three-phase systems and 480 Volts AC for three-phase systems. The power supply for control inputs is 24 Volts DC and nominal bus output supply is 276 Volts DC to 747 Volts DC. The housing of the servo module fits into a 50 x 170 x 200 millimeter (1.97 x 6.69 x 7.87 inch) space. Restrictions concerning cable lengths from the module to the motors are 50 meters (164 feet) for standard non-flex cables and 30 meters (98.4 feet) for continuous flex cables.
