It is easy to plug the Allen-Bradley 22-HIM-A3 human-machine interface module straight into the Allen-Bradley PowerFlex drive that it will act as the interface for. It has an LCD screen and a small keypad. The LCD screen is divided into different rows that display different things. From top to bottom, the rows on the screen display the status of things like the drive and the current application, and the output and parameter settings of the current application process. The screen can also show the programming menu, the menu navigation tabs, and the user display screen in a large-scale format to make it easier to read. The keypad on the 22-HIM-A3 interface module includes gray number keys from 0 to 9, a green “on” key, a red “off” key, and blue navigation keys such as the up and down arrow keys and the “escape,” “select,” and “enter” keys.
