The Allen-Bradley 22B-D4P0N104 is part of the PowerFlex 40 Sensorless Vector Control capable drive. With Sensorless Vector Control, the drive is capable of providing High-starting Torque as well as varying Torque output across the drive’s speed range. The 22B-D4P0N104 is compatible for use in lifting, conveying and similar applications with varying loads.

The 22B-D4P0N104 is primarily used to control and modulate speed of AC motors. With modulating speed, the connected motor may be used in more complex control strategies that requires increased accuracy. Compatible motor rating for this drive is 1.5 kW (2.0 HP) motor.

The 22B-D4P0N104 is powered by an input voltage supply of 342-528VAC, 3-Phase and input current of 5.7 Amperes. The 22B-D4P0N104 delivers a continuous output voltage of 0-460VAC, output current of 4.0 Amperes, output frequency range of 0-400 Hz. It has an enclosure rating of IP20 / NEMA UL Type Open with top cover removed and IP30 / NEMA UL Type 1 with cover installed along an optional conduit kit.

The drive also features process PID capability which allow it to act as a stand-alone controller, used to automatically regulate motor speed for process or machine control. Aside from the internal process PID capability, this drive has an embedded RS485 communication port which allow the drive to be connected to a daisy-chain RS485 network.
