Some of its physical parts are a communication card-drive header, a node address switch, CS1 and CS2 terminals, 2 Ethernet/IP ports, and status indicators. Some other features include support for star, linear, and device-level ring network topologies, and support for switches that can set a network node address before applying power to the drive. These switches can also be disabled and a BOOTP server can be used instead. This adapter comes with parameters that have been configured with 16-bit datalinks in the I/O to meet various application requirements.
