The Allen-Bradley 25B-D024N104 is a PowerFlex adjustable Frequency AC Drive. This drive, among any other adjustable frequency drives are primarily used to implement discrete motor control such as Start / Stop, Forward / Reverse, Jog / Manual and Automatic and Single / Continuous operation. Aside from carrying standard motor control commands, this adjustable frequency AC drive enables analog speed control through by providing PWM signal to the motor, implemented through a variety configurable control methods such as Volts per Hertz (V/Hz), Sensorless Vector Control (SVC), Closed loop velocity vector control and Permanent Magnet motor control.

Aside from the control methods supported by the 25B-D024N104 include positioning control through Closed loop feedback with an optional encoder card and Point-to-point positioning mode.
