Information About 25B-D043N114
The Allen-Bradley 25B-D043N114 PowerFlex 525 is a Frame E Adjustable Frequency Drive. This drive has an input voltage range of 380-480VAC, -15% and + 10 % input voltage tolerance along input frequency range of 47-63 Hz. It delivers output Voltage, frequency, Current and power of 0-460VAC, 3-Phase, 0-500 Hz fully programmable frequency, Current of 43.0 A and Power of 22 kW (30.0 HP) for normal operation and 18.5 kW (25.0 HP) heavy-duty operation, respectively.
This drive is a compact and highly-cost effective device as it can implement motor control, speed control and protective functions via a variety of control methods and supplemental features such as Volts / Hertz, Sensorless Vector Control (SVC), Closed loop velocity vector control and Permanent Magnet motor control method. Supplemental but equally important features include PointStop, Closed loop feedback with an optional encoder card, Point-to-point positioning mode for Positioning control as well as Integral Proportional + Integral + Derivative (PID) control wherein up to Two (2) control loops may be controlled by the drive automatically.
The 25B-D043N114 supports an efficient and cost-effective installation as it is directly installed to an enclosure subpanel and compatible for Zero stacking installation method wherein drives may be installed with very minimum spacing, saving panel space. It also comes with a Removable Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) that allows the drive to be used in ungrounded distribution systems. It also comes with a relay precharge that limits inrush current, integral braking resistor for dynamic braking and dual overload rating which are 10% overload for 60 seconds INormal Duty) or 150% for 3 seconds (Heavy-Duty) and 150% overload for 60 seconds or 180% overload (200% programmable) for 3 seconds provides robust overload protection.
The 25B-D043N114 PowerFlex drive offers motor speed control and dynamic braking capabilities that make it suitable for a wide array of applications, including standalone equipment and simple system integration. Some motor control options it offers include the sensorless vector control, permanent magnet motor control, and the closed loop velocity control. It also offers basic position control via the StepLogic application and it provides standard safe torque-off to protect equipment and personnel and for faster restarting. The I/O features on the 25B-D043N114 PowerFlex drive include 7 digital inputs, 6 of which are fully programmable, 2 independently isolated analog inputs that can be toggled through a digital input, 1 10-bit jumper-selectable analog output that is ideal for metering to other drives, and 2 relay outputs and 2 opto outputs which indicate the status of logic conditions, other drives, and motors. The control module and power modules of the 25B-D043N114 PowerFlex drive are both detachable. It has an EMC Filter and is designed to be mounted vertically (upright) on a flat surface. To meet space-saving requirements, the 25B-D043N114 PowerFlex drive allows zero stacking when mounting multiple drives but a space of about 20 inches should be allowed at the top and bottom of each drive. Its environmental ratings can be increased when it is adapted to an IP30 (NEMA 1) conduit box.
