Information About 25B-D2P3N114
The Allen-Bradley 25B-D2P3N114 is a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) from Allen-Bradley. This drive is specifically part of the PowerFlex 525 Adjustable Frequency Drive product family that is fitted for use in industrial applications and meets modern integration and connectivity requirements for operational flexibility and efficiency.
Other plant personnel refer to this device as Variable Speed Drive (VFD), Adjustable Speed Drive, Frequency inverter, inverter or simply, motor drive. All these terms refer to this electronic device that implements basic motor control as well as modulating speed control of an AC motor. This drive operates at an input supply voltage of 480VAC, 3-Phase along an input frequency range of 47-63Hz. It delivers an output power of 0.75 kW or 1.0 HP, 2.3 Amperes and fully-programmable frequency of 0-500 Hz.
For drive configuration, it is provided with an integrated Human Interface Module (HI) with LCD display and embedded keys that allow local operation, configuration and troubleshooting of drive in the event of error.
Other built-in features of this drive include an integrated EMC filter, built-in I/O terminals composed of Seven (7) Sink / Source discrete inputs, One (1) N.O., One (1) N.C. Contacts relay contact output, Two (2) Digital / Optocoupler outputs, Two (2) 0-10VDC; 0-20mA analog inputs, One (1) 0-10VDC; 0-20mA analog output and Potentiometer terminal.
It features CustomView, AppView, MainsFree, and QuickView programming and configuration tools and it combines a wide range of communication and motor control options that make it ideal for different applications in different industries. Its compact design and zero stacking capability in atmospheric temperatures between 0 and 45 degrees Celsius help to maximize panel space during installation. The detachable control modules of the 25B-D2P3N114 PowerFlex drive can be connected to a PC through USB cables for fast uploading and downloading of drive data and configuration through MainsFree configuration and this drive supports the use of up to 2 accessory cards simultaneously without altering its footprint. To provide trouble-free operation in ungrounded distribution systems, the 25B-D2P3N114 PowerFlex drive leverages the power of its removable Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) that is connected to the ground. It incorporates some other protective features including the BUS under-voltage trip, BUS overvoltage trip, 100 milliseconds power ride through, motor overload protection, over-current protection, and the phase-to-phase and phase-to-ground protection on the drive output. Four (4) independently programmable acceleration and deceleration times are available on the 25B-D2P3N114 PowerFlex drive and they can be configured to any setting between 0 and 600 seconds. This drive has an A-frame size and it is housed in an IP20 NEMA enclosure suitable for use in different environments provided it is not exposed to corrosive gases, vapor, or direct rain and sunlight.
