It consists of a Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) that allows you to show up to 4 lines of text with up to 20 characters in each line. Each 5 x 7 dot matrix character measures 11.3 millimeters and you can use standard or extended ASCII characters. The extended ASCII characters allow you to display text in different languages and Cyrillic characters. You can view the text displayed from as far as 7.62 meters away.
