Description
The Allen-Bradley 2706-P22R terminal is a message display terminal from the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation InView series. It is designed to be mounted in a custom type of panel or enclosure with a faceplate that will provide it with a NEMA Type 12/13 and 4 protection rating. The 2706-P22R message display terminal should only be used indoors because its enclosure is not designed to protect it from outdoor environmental conditions. Its input voltage range is from 18 to 30 Volts DC. The 2706-P22R message display terminal comes with a 10-position DIP switch that can be used to configure it.

The Allen-Bradley 2706-P22R Marquee Message Display is a panel-mounted and large format display. This display for visual information communicates throughout the factory floor. The Allen-Bradley 2706-P22R can send the information wherever it is needed. Some of the tasks of this module are sounding alarms and sending security messages, inventory, or process data. There are eleven different models offered in the line display. It can also modify the character size, message color, font type, and different message effects. This 2706-P22R module integrates displayed messages into industrial and commercial networks using the communication module and the control module. The 2706-P22R can be integrated with other Rockwell Automation modules, third-party controllers, or computer-based systems. For installation, please install the InView device in accordance with the NFPA 70E, Electrical Safety Requirements for Employee Workplace. Proper cable routing minimizes electrical noise. Route power into the module through a separate conduit from the communication cable. Remember not to run communications cables and power lines on the same line.
