With the Active Matrix Thin-Film Resistor (TFT) with Cold Cathode Fluorescent (CCF) Backlight, the operator terminal may be used to display a full color graphic and display high-level information at a glance. The colored screen may be used to display the status of instruments and devices, depict process areas, materials and plant situation. The embedded analog-resistive touchscreen interface is designed to allow operators to directly interface with the runtime objects displayed in the screen. This is a more convenient method of operating the 2711-T10C9 compared to keypad terminals.
The 2711-T10C9 has an embedded power terminal block residing at the rear section of the device. It is powered with an external voltage supply of 85-264VAC along a frequency of 43-63 Hz. It has a power consumption of 55 VA maximum and dissipates heat of 39 W (132 BTU/HR).
