Description 

The Allen-Bradley 2711-T10C9 is a PanelView 1000 Standard Operator Terminal. This operator terminal is powered by an external 85-264VAC supply voltage and has a 10.1-inch colored display with embedded RS232 interface that supports DH485 and another RS232 port for printer interface. It has an analog resistive touchscreen operator interface.

The Allen-Bradley 2711-T10C9 is part of the PanelView Plus 1000 color operator terminals.

The 2711-T10C9 colored display screen allows viewing of the terminal’s configuration environment as well as the runtime interface of the operator terminal. With the Active Matrix Thin-Film Resistor (TFT) with Cold Cathode Fluorescent (CCF) Backlight, the operator terminal may be used to display a full color graphic and display high-level information at a glance. The colored screen may be used to display the status of instruments and devices, depict process areas, materials and plant situation. The embedded analog-resistive touchscreen interface is designed to allow operators to directly interface with the runtime objects displayed in the screen. This is a more convenient method of operating the 2711-T10C9 compared to keypad terminals.

The 2711-T10C9 has an embedded power terminal block residing at the rear section of the device. It is powered with an external voltage supply of 85-264VAC along a frequency of 43-63 Hz. It has a power consumption of 55 VA maximum and dissipates heat of 39 W (132 BTU/HR).

The 2711-T10C9 also comes with a non-volatile flash memory of 1008 KB for bitmaps, texts, and application objects, and 310 KB runtime application memory. It also supports ATA memory cards if users need additional memory. A battery-backed real-time clock is also present with this terminal and this clock timestamps critical data. It has two communication ports, namely an RS-232 (DH-485) communication port, and an RS-232 printer port. The 2711-T10C9 terminal comes with a NEMA Type 12/13 or 4x enclosure, measures 11.11 x 14.58 x 4.40 inches, and weighs roughly 3.6 kilograms or 7.9 pounds. It is an AC power terminal with a voltage rating of 85 to 264 Volts AC at 47 to 63 Hertz and a maximum AC power consumption of 55 VA. Its operating temperature range is from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius and its non-operating temperature range is from -25 to 70 degrees Celsius.
