This communication module specifically supports the ControlNet protocol. It comes with Two (2) ControlNet communication ports, channels A and B with One (1) RJ45 Network Access Port (NAP) used for module configuration. This module is installed on top of the logic module.
To successfully configure and establish unscheduled ControlNet communication with the 2711P-RN15S, the configuration workstation and the PanelView terminal must have RSView Studio and RSView Machine Edition Runtime v3.10 or later for PanelView Plus 700-1500 and PanelView Plus CE 700-1500; RSView Studio and RSView Machine Edition Runtime v4.
For ControlNet scheduled communication, the configuration workstation must have RSView Studio v3.20 or later for PanelView Plus and PanelView Plus CE 700-1500 and v4.0 or later for PanelView Plus and PanelView Plus CE for PanelView Plus and PanelView Plus CE 400-600. Appropriate RSView Machine Edition Runtime is v3.20.04.43 or later for PanelView Plus and PanelView Plus CE 700-1500 and v4.0 or later for PanelView Plus and PanelView Plus CE 400-600.
